It’s All Right Here
And yet I still haven’t done it. I have everything I need try this singlespeed thing, but I can’t seem to find the time to do the conversion. Last night, my family took me out to dinner, which was actually a surprise. I knew we would go out, but I figured that it would be tonight. I thought I would have spare time yesterday evening to switch everything on The Big O over to singlespeed, but that didn’t happen. I enjoyed my dinner (and beer) though.
Here’s one of my uh, presents to myself:
If you look at the bottom of the bottle, it says, “A liquid poem to the glory of the hop.” That’s my kind of poem for sure. Anyway, I’ll probably get off my ass this evening when I get home from work and jump into this “losing my gears thing.” I’ve already lined up the B-43 mechanic, R2D2.
I know, you’re tired of hearing about me wanting to convert my bike to singlespeed. Hell, I’m tired of hearing about it too (at least I'm not still talking about my broken rib.) After all of this fuss, I may not even like it. If I get time to get it done tonight, then I’ll take it out on the trail tomorrow morning for a test ride. The plan is to hit up Sherman Branch bright and early, since that’s the trail I use the least amount of gears on anyway. Also, I have another product review to do. I received something new to try from a yet to be named company, so you’ll get to hear all about that next week.
Did I bore the shit out of you today? Sorry. Here, I’ll make it up to you with a little funny, a.k.a. my Internets Art Collection. It won’t be all bicycling today, but at least it’s something else I dig. Check it:
Don’t have enough time to ride and do trail work? Well then, this bicycle might be right up your alley:
Tired of your bike looking like everyone else's? Do you like horses? Well partner, saddle up and take this steed for a ride:
Only have a little time to train for that big road race? Try this little bike:
Speaking of little, do you love it when a plan comes together? Well, if you have a little problem, then call these guys:
I can’t leave you without any Star Wars stuff (although I did put my mechanic’s photo up there.) I’m pretty sure this lady doesn’t have the droids they are looking for:
I need a vacation. My pal Lord Vader knows just what I’m talking about:
Yeah, that’s my pathetic attempt at a blog post today. I’m hoping to get out and ride a lot this weekend, so I don’t have to resort to random photos from the Internets for a while. You should go ride too. If you're one of my readers that doesn't ride, then wait here until I get back on Monday.

where's that car wash? I want to be a storm trooper
I heard it shut down because of the Empire's new budget cuts. What a shame.
